Donna is currently a Ford NGL Community Coach, where she leverages her extensive experience as the former Director of the Academies of Nashville & CTE to help communities across the country and abroad as they envision, design, and implement transformative school changes.
During her time with Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS), Donna successfully managed wall-to-wall career academies across 12 zoned high schools, working closely with business partners to develop engaging, real-world learning experiences for students. She also led the creation and facilitation of professional development programs for educators and staff, ensuring continued growth and excellence in teaching in the career academy model.
With 31 years of dedicated service to MNPS, Donna spent the first half of her career as a classroom teacher, before transitioning to roles that focused on creating opportunities to empower students and support their success from the district level. For more than 25 years, Donna has been actively involved with Ford NGL, serving as a Professional Development Provider and consultant, contributing to educational transformation efforts nationwide.
Donna holds a Business Degree and an MBA from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
