Dr. Kimberly Vissotski is a nationally recognized leader in community-connected transformation, strategic planning, and workforce-aligned education systems. She is the owner and CEO of Alignment Works, LLC, providing workshops, keynotes, strategic planning facilitation, and leadership coaching for education, workforce development, chambers, and economic development entities. As a Ford Next Generation Learning Community Coach she supports communities in building sustainable talent pipeline systems aligned to regional workforce needs.
With more than 26 years of leadership experience spanning education, workforce development, healthcare, public relations, chambers of commerce, and community engagement, Kimberly brings a unique cross-sector perspective to helping communities bridge the gap between industry and education. Her work focuses on convening workforce, economic development, chambers, industry, and education partners around a shared vision for expanding high-quality career pathways that prepare students for successful postsecondary opportunities while addressing regional labor market demands.
Prior to her current roles, Dr. Vissotski served as Assistant Superintendent at Greater Clark County Schools and Clark-Pleasant Community Schools, where she led large-scale implementation of the Ford Next Generation Learning framework and career academy transformation model. She played a key role in developing the Academies of Greater Clark and authored Indiana’s first non-CTE Graduation Pathway approved by the Indiana State Board of Education. Her leadership focused on building scalable systems and structures that connect PK–12 education with workforce and economic priorities across communities of varying size and complexity. Kimberly’s expertise includes governance structures, workforce alignment, pathway development, postsecondary credit crosswalks, community engagement, and the implementation of systems that support both student success and regional economic prosperity.
In addition to her educational leadership, Kimberly brings extensive experience in workforce and community development. She previously served as both a board member and president of a Chamber of Commerce and also served on a regional workforce development board. Through these leadership roles, she helped strengthen partnerships among business, education, and community organizations while advancing strategic initiatives focused on talent development, economic vitality, and regional growth. Her professional background also includes experience in healthcare and public relations, further enhancing her ability to convene diverse stakeholders, build collaborative partnerships, and align communities around shared goals and meaningful action.
